Writer, filmmaker, and performer, Jackie Batsinduka will be presenting Geni, a short film exploring loss and family history. In the film, a daughter estranged from her mother returns home to confront their past and its intrinsic link to the 1994 Rwandan genocide of the Tutsi. A discussion will follow the screening with the director Jackie Batsinduka, moderated by Josie Fomé.

This event is part of the “Listen, Explore and Learn” series, taking place at 4TH SPACE from December 2-10. See the full program here.
