Writer, filmmaker, and performer, Jackie Batsinduka will be presenting Geni, a short film exploring loss and family history. In the film, a daughter estranged from her mother returns home to confront their past and its intrinsic link to the 1994 Rwandan genocide of the Tutsi. A discussion will follow the screening with the director Jackie Batsinduka, moderated by Josie Fomé.
