Join the FPPSE community to celebrate stories and films about teaching and learning by First Nations, Inuit, and Métis students, graduates, parents and elders.
The celebration and web launch is a result of a 4 year SSHRC-funded collaborative project created to improve Indigenous students’ access to education and to help close the gap between postsecondary academic institutions and communities.
Niá:wen students, faculty, families, creators, project partners Dawson College, Concordia University, McGill University, Kahnawake Survival School, the First Nations Adult Education School Council, John Abbott College, and collaborators Our World, Kahnawake Skawení:io Library, Kahnawake Schools Diabetes Prevention Project (KSDPP), Nasivvik Residence, Air Inuit, Mushkeg Media, Cree School Board and more; with support from SSHRC’s Community and College Social Innovation Fund (CCSIF).
