This course focuses on advanced topics of PHP web application development like securing web applications, developing shopping carts, authentication, interacting with the file system and server, generating images, controlling sessions, creating an email service, calling web services, and integrating AJAX. You'll also learn how to properly structure web applications using a Model-View-Controller design pattern. By the time you finish this course, you'll have mastered the skills needed to create secure e-commerce web applications using PHP and MySQL.
