Chedly Belkhodja

Chedly Belkhodja, PhD, Co-director

Professor, School of Community and Public Affairs, Concordia University

Chedly Belkhodja holds a BA in Political Science from l’Université de Moncton and an MSc in Political Science from l’Université de Montréal. He completed his Diplôme d’études approfondies and his PhD in Political Science at l’Université de Montesquieu (Bordeaux, France). He was the director of the Atlantic Metropolis Centre and is currently a Co-Investigator in the pan-Canadian Pathways to Prosperity partnership and the Migration Resilience in Urban Cities partnership. His research focuses on immigration policies and mobility of migrants in the case of less common destinations. He is also interested in the processes of integration and inclusion.

Brian Lewis

Brian Lewis, PhD, Co-director

Professor, Department of Communications Studies, Concordia University

Brian Lewis completed his undergraduate studies in French and political science at Hamilton College in New York, and received his PhD in Communication and film theory under Dudley Andrew at the University of Iowa. He previously served as Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences at Simon Fraser University, and Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Science at Concordia University. His current research interests include communication networks, minority rights, and community vitality.
