Dr. Jason Seawright

Dr. Jason Seawright is Associate Professor of Political Science at Northwestern University, where he teaches courses on quantitative methods, causal inference, the politics of inequality, and party politics.

He also teaches workshops on multi-method research design at a variety of summer methods programs worldwide, including the Institute for Qualitative and Multi-Method Research at Syracuse University and the Essex Summer School for Social Science Data Analysis. involved in ongoing research projects about multi-method research designs for causal inference; about the link between class and gender inequality and unequal political representation; and about how dynamics of political psychology and organization shape party-system change. He has a special research interest in the politics of the Andean countries of South America.
