Panel XIB: Sustainability and Community Outreach
Waste Not Want Not is a collaboration campaign at Concordia between students, staff and faculty with the goal of improving waste management on campus using a multi-stakeholder approach. Waste Not Want Not has recently joined Concordia’s District 3 Innovation Centre with the goal to expand the reach of the organization across the Greater Montreal area. In preparation for this growth, Waste Not Want Not has been conducting research to map the waste sorting infrastructure and education in public and private institutions across Greater Montreal. This presentation will explore those research findings, as well as overviewing the on-campus outreach efforts of Waste Not Want Not.
