Climate Geopardy is an interactive presentation designed to teach players about the climate crisis in a fun and engaging way. All are welcome to join and win points with their teammates in this Jeopardy-style game by discussing and sharing their ideas on the science, impacts and solutions of climate change. Climate Geopardy has been presented to over 25 high school, CEGEP and university classes and auditoriums since Fall 2019, with enthusiastic support from students and teachers. Feedback from players of this session will help further refine the final product: a resource for any educator to teach about the climate crisis in a novel way.
This event is brought to you by the Loyola College for Diversity and Sustainability and the Loyola Sustainability Research Centre with the support of the Office of the Vice-President, Research and Graduate Studies; the Faculty of Arts and Science; the Canada Excellence Research Chair in Smart, Sustainable and Resilient Communities and Cities; the John Molson School of Business; and the Departments of Biology; Communication Studies; Economics; Geography, Planning and Environment; Management; and Political Science at Concordia University.
