Economics Spring Poster Day

Our annual Spring Poster Day will be held virtually on May 12, 2021; MA and PhD students are invited to submit a poster for the competition by sending their name and poster title to Émilie Martel by April 9, while BA students can attend the event to learn more about the research that happens in the department.

Final exams prep

It’s time to get the tools you need to prepare and plan for your final exams! Take a look at the free workshops offered by the Student Success Centre.

ECON course support

Do you need to review the course content for ECON 201, 203, 221, or 222 before the final exam? Take a look at the Student Success Centre study groups and mock exams. In addition, our department’s virtual Drop-In Centre for 201 and 203 (see info in your course outline) will remain up and running until the start of final exams.

Fraser Institute Student Essay Contest

Undergraduate and graduate students are invited to register for the Fraser Institute’s 2021 student essay contest on The Ideas of Joseph Schumpeter: Exploring the Concept of Creative Destruction by June 1. Also visit the Fraser Institute website to learn more about upcoming events, including the Student Leaders Colloquium.

CEA - Bank of Canada Undergraduate Student Paper Awards

The papers will be presented at the 55th Annual Meeting of the Canadian Economics Association (CEA) More details are available on the conference page.
