Get Involved in Zero Waste Concordia

Joining the Sustainability Ambassadors Program is the most enriching way to volunteer with Zero Waste Concordia; you join an exclusive group of students who will be given the opportunity to take a deep dive into sustainability practice at Concordia. We offer regular volunteering slots for Sustainability Ambassadors and many of them select a zero waste themed project as their target problem. Past ambassadors have started compost clubs, designed zero waste video games, and made plant pots out of recycled plastic. Spots are limited!

Being an on-call volunteer means you are informed about various opportunities to lend a hand, whether that's helping guests at events sort waste, setting up waste bins on campus, conducting a waste audit, or spreading the word about zero waste practices. Looking for a part-time job on-campus in sustainability work? We offer jobs through the Concordia Work-study program, which is open to eligible full-time students.
