Support sustainability initiatives in Concordia's operations, research, teaching & learning, and student groups.
The fund
Concordia's Sustainability Development Fund has been put in place for members of the community who want to support sustainability initiatives at the university.
Based on the donor's choice, the Fund is redistributed by Concordia's Sustainability Steering Committee for projects related to sustainability in these four areas:
1. Operational & Environmental
2. Teaching, Learning & Research
3. Community Engagement
4. Student & Student Group Initiatives

OPERATIONAL &
ENVIRONMENTAL
Support projects in Concordia's operations related to sustainable transportation, waste management, water consumption, energy efficiency, sustainable purchasing, etc.
TEACHING, LEARNING &
RESEARCH
Support academic initiatives that allow Faculty to connect the environmental, social, and economic aspects of sustainability in the curriculum and research projects.
COMMUNITY
ENGAGEMENT
Support community-university partnerships, which are locally-rooted, community-driven and beneficial to all involved.
STUDENT & STUDENT
GROUP INITIATIVES
Support the sustainability initiatives of passionate students during their journey at Concordia. Donations towards student initiatives will be co-managed by the Sustainability Action Fund (SAF) student group.
If you do not know which aspect of sustainability you would like to support, you can make a donation to support sustainability initiatives at Concordia in general. Your donation will be used where support is most needed.
