4TH SPACE is an immersive experience designed to bring knowledge and ideas to life. It offers programming grounded in innovation and creativity, revealing research and experiential learning activities that focus on compelling issues, surrounding humans, culture and society – in inspired and inventive ways.
4TH SPACE is at once a science centre, living lab, theatre, design showroom and exhibition space. It is an inclusive, innovative and versatile venue at the corner of De Maisonneuve and MacKay – a street-level vitrine that offers the public the opportunity to become a part of a unique experience.
Within its flexibly-designed space, discover installations, rotating residencies, curated programs, and special events including screenings, idea labs, lectures, performances, consultations, hack-a-thons, conferences and more. A night cinema extends the experience beyond opening hours.
4TH SPACE provides a lens into the world of knowledge – a distinctive space to connect and engage with Concordia.

Queering The Map (QTM) is a community-generated digital counter-mapping project that aims to archive fleeting moments of queer existence and resistance in relation to physical space. The mapping of queer histories is at the core of the project and is done in order to preserve a collective history that is always at risk of erasure.
The project is part of a curatorial residency hosted at Curating and Public Scholarship Lab (CaPSL), a space at Concordia that aims to integrate academic theory with practical curatorial experimentation.
