Our point with this exhibit is to address issues of global concern, but with a localized significance. The subjects focused on are mental health struggles in South Asia, the effects of climate change in Karachi in Pakistan, the sexism indoctrinated in Indian culture, physical and mental health issues in Vietnamese society, and poverty in Cambodia.
In 2017, the Concordia Library was gifted a personal collection of books related to gay culture, with a particular focus on gay men. In celebration of Pride month, this exhibition features just a few of the more than 300 gifted books.
Welcome to the Faculty of Arts and Science's (FAS) Touchstone new student advising session. As a new student there is much you need to know! At this mandatory advising session, you will hear from advisors from Student Academic Services (SAS) and your department. Many dates/times are offered so pick one that works for you but, the earlier you attend a Touchstone, the earlier you can register for your courses! Registration is required!

In this talk, Cao Thang Dinh will discuss various strategies aimed at overcoming stability challenges in electrochemical CO2 conversion. The focus will be on exploring innovative concepts in designing catalysts, electrode, and electrochemical systems, alongside unconventional operation strategies that enable long-term stable CO2 conversion.
The Institute on Culture and Society is the five-day annual interdisciplinary conference of the Marxist Literary Group. This year's ICS explores the question: what is the relation between capital, imperialism, and racism today?

Carlo Handy Charles will discuss the intersection of LGBTQ+ migration and digital intimacy. Visiting Scholar in the Digital Intimacy, Gender and Sexuality Lab (DIGS Lab), Charles will show how dating apps like Grindr, Tinder, and Facebook Dating influence the romantic connections and intimate relationships of LGBTQ+ migrants and non-migrants across borders. The lecture will be followed by a Q&A session.
This exhibit features the collaborative MA oral history research of Hannah Pinilla and her interview partners. Her research explores how the narrations, consumption, and preparation of "home foods" facilitates interactive, diasporic "memory work."
