Concordia works closely with the two major organizations representing universities in Canada and in Quebec.

The Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada (the AUCC) is the voice of Canada's universities. Its mandate is to facilitate the development of public policy on higher education and to encourage cooperation among universities and governments, industry, communities, and institutions in other countries. The AUCC's website is www.aucc.ca.

The Conference of Rectors and Principals of Québec Universities (the CREPUQ) acts as the representative of all Québec universities and is an ideal contact for dealings with the government on all matters concerning university life. Its website is www.crepuq.qc.ca.
