The Volunteer Fair is an opportunity to meet representatives from 50 community organizations and learn about the great variety of volunteer opportunities available at Concordia, in Montreal and abroad.

Who is the event for?

The Fair is open to everyone. Students, members of the Concordia community and the general public are welcome, and encouraged to bring their friends!

What happens at the Fair?

People who want to find out more about volunteering visit the different kiosks and talk to representatives of the recruiting organizations. It's a good way to learn more about the organizations that interest you and find out which organizations provide the best fit for you, in terms of your interests, goals, and of course, your schedule.

How do I prepare?

Find out ahead of time which organization will be at the Fair and what they do. Do you see a fit with the experience you are looking for? Make a list of the questions you want to ask.

If you want to propose a volunteer project, consider the organization’s needs and think through your offer to be realistic. If this is of interest, find out more about creating your own opportunity.

Once at the Fair, introduce yourself, get the Volunteer Coordinator’s contact, and of course, follow-up!

What if I didn't find my perfect volunteer opportunity at the Fair?

There are hundred more opportunities for you to explore! Concordia students can visit the LIVE Volunteer Resource Centre on-campus to discuss with a Volunteer Ambassador, while members of the general public are encouraged to follow-up with the Volunteer Bureau of Montreal.
