Alumni services

Concordia alumni - up to one year after graduation - are entitled to use Career Advising services to help with job search.  Services for alumni are indicated below:

Individual appointments

CAPS offers free Career Advising and Career Counselling for Alumni up to one year after graduation. Between one and two years from graduation, Alumni can still access Career Advising services for a fee of $50.00 per session. Payment must be made by cheque. Whether you would like to practice for an interview, improve your résumé and cover letter writing, or develop a job search strategy – CAPS can help.

Online job database & virtual tools

Concordia Alumni have access to our online job board and comprehensive website free of charge. With over 300 job postings per month, the CAPS job board is an excellent way to find opportunities in your chosen field.

Our website features a multitude of online job search resources, such as cover letter and résumé samples, interview questions, links to other job and career sites, and information on up-coming workshops.

Career development & networking events

CAPS provides the opportunity for Alumni to network with potential employers and gather information from experts in their chosen field. Career fairs, speed networking events, recruitment information sessions and career panels are but a few of the events that we organize and host on a regular basis. Career Resource Centre (CRC)

Concordia Alumni can access and borrow material from our Career Resource Centre. Our resource centre provides print, electronic and audio-visual resources to facilitate career exploration. We also have an extensive collection of educational planning, career planning and job search resources. Our staff will help you find the information you need.
