Let’s hope you never have one
Emergencies can be scary but you can keep a cool head if you know what to do. Here’s how to prepare yourself in case you have to act.
- Call 911 for any medical emergency. Ask for an ambulance.
- If you are on campus, phone Security at ext. 3717. Tell them where you are so they can direct the paramedics when they arrive.
If you have to see a doctor when our offices are closed, consult the list of after-hours community clinics.
You can also dial 811 to speak to a nurse who will help you determine the urgency of your situation. This is a free service offered by Info-Santé and is available 24 hours per day, seven days per week.
