GPLL250 - Ethics in Research Involving Human Participants

A basic understanding of research ethics is essential for anyone intending to do research with human participants, either as part of their graduate studies or in a professional or academic context, and this workshop will provide it.

This workshop will discuss fundamental ethical principles relating to research with human participants and the rationale for research ethics review. It will provide an overview of the applicable policies and review process at Concordia.

It is also a great opportunity to ask specific questions relating to your own current or upcoming research.

2- The researcher’s responsibilities, including relevant policies
3- The research ethics review process at Concordia
