GPDI501 - Intermediate Microsoft Access

IMPORTANT NOTE: Basic knowledge of Access such as tables and relationships between tables is required. It is strongly recommended that you complete "GPDI 509 - Introduction to Microsoft Access" prior to enrolling in this workshop. Review of GPDI509 will NOT be included due to time constraint.

This intermediate Microsoft Access workshop focuses on the relational properties of databases. Students will be introduced to the notions of primary and secondary keys, will learn how to establish relationships between tables, and will be shown practical examples. Different types of queries will also be covered and practiced during the workshop, as well as database forms and ways of data importing and exporting.


Learning Objectives



In this workshop, participants will learn to:
1- Identify advanced MS Access components
2- Utilize advanced level MS Access features to maintain and manipulate data
3- Manipulate databases in MS Access
