Tutor for the ACSD!
The ACSD is always recruiting tutors to help our students in all subjects. Gain valuable experience, help fellow students and earn $19/hour. Tutors can expect to work between 1-3 hours per week.

The ACSD hires transcribers every semester for our students. Transcribers attend classes and transcribe content verbatim onto a laptop.
Work between 1.5 - 5 hours per week, at $16.25/hour.

Work as a Professional Note Taker
Professional note takers are hired to provide class notes to students who are registered with the Access Centre for Students with Disabilities. Using a computer or by hand, the note taker records information presented in the class in point form. To apply to be a Professional note taker, send your cover letter and CV to Kathleen Glustein.
Become an Academic Coach!
Academic Coaches work with individual students to help them become effective students. Typical activities include planning schedules, exploring library resources, finding campus resources, and/or helping a student break down complicated or lengthy assignments into manageable parts. Coaches can expect to meet with their student(s) 1-2 hours per week, at $19/hr. To apply, send your cover letter and CV to Kathleen Glustein.
Work as an Academic Attendant
Academic Attendants perform many of the same tasks as Coaches, but also attend class with the student in order to facilitate areas like class participation, socialization and group work. Aides are expected to attend all classes of a specific course with the student and then work outside of class hours with the student 1 to 2 hours per week. Rate of Pay: $19.00/hr. ACSD Ambassador Program
Are you interested in issues of Access?
Do you have good communication skills and enjoy working in groups?
The Access Centre for Students with Disabilities is looking for energetic, enthusiastic, motivated and creative Concordia students to participate in our Ambassador Program. Selected volunteers will follow a series of Disability Awareness workshops and then will assist the awareness raising activities that the ACSD holds throughout the year.
