Students in failed standing

Please consult your letter of academic assessment which stipulates important deadlines.  If you require information, please see the contact information of your relevant Faculty, School or Independent Student office found at the right of this page.

Students who are in FIRST-time Failed Standing must complete the following steps to be eligible for readmission

The steps to readmission are as follows:

  1. Watch the online Failed Standing video
  2. Complete the online Learning and Study Skills Inventory (LASSI) assessment
  3. Download the Application for Readmission and Readmission Agreement
  4. Submit the completed Application before the deadline of June 26th, 2020 (12:00)

Read more about each step on our readmission requirements page.

Are you in failed standing for the second time?

Students who have failed more than once are obliged to leave the university for a period of three years. Students in this situation should contact their respective Faculty, School or the Office of the Registrar in the year in which they are permitted to apply for readmission. For example, if you are a student who is in failed standing for a second time this year, you must wait until the 2019-20 academic year to apply for readmission. In May of 2019, you should contact the Office of the Registrar or your Faculty regarding what process you must follow to apply for readmission.
