Minors at Events

The Policy Concerning Minors on Campus applies to all persons, units or departments responsible for or involved in organizing events or programs on campus involving minors (persons under the age of eighteen and who are not Concordia students).

For example this Policy applies when minors are present on campus, without a parent or guardian, and where Concordia University is responsible for the safety and supervision of the minors.

Ensure that you complete and return the document which pertains to you:

Person, unit or department planning an activity involving minors on campus including but not limited to a sports program, a music class, a course, or a day camp:
Complete the Declaration of an Activity and return it to the insurance specialist at least thirty (30) days prior to the scheduled event/activity date.

Parents of minors registering and/or attending programs held at the University:
Complete a Parental Waiver and return to the person, unit or department organizing the program or activity, at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the beginning of the event/activity.
