Counselling & development
Counselling & Development's goal is to empower all Concordia students to achieve their personal, academic, and career potential. Our team of professionals provides Concordia students with individual support through one-to-one appointments, support groups and over 80 workshops offered each semester.
You can access personal, educational or career counselling through Counselling and Psychological Services, develop learning strategies through Student Learning Services, or prepare for the workforce through Career and Placement Services.
If you are new who to Concordia, take advantage of the transition services offered by Services for New Students. Counselling and Development also manages four drop-in centres, the Career Resource Centre (CRC), the Student Success Center and the Student Success Resource Centre and the LIVE Centre.

Working in Quebec means you need to have good French-language skills. And learning French can give you a competitive edge in gaining employment in Quebec.
That is why Concordia has launched a new initiative to give you access to French-language resources on campus and throughout the city. This includes a French-language bursary program available to international and out-of-province students.
