This information session will provide an overview of the discipline, profession, and practice of music therapy. A brief case example involving music therapy and chronic illness will be shared. An experiential component will be incorporated.
This implementation workshop will provide an overview of nutritional considerations for people living with chronic conditions, as provided by a registered dietitian-nutritionist. Several examples of nutritional modifications and adaptations in the context of various chronic conditions will be explored.
This session will review assessment, program design, and training components for healthy adults, and explore how these components can be modified when working with clinical populations (e.g. people with Parkinson’s disease, arthritis, cancer, and autism).
