Holocaust Education Series at the Montreal Holocaust Memorial Centre
The Montreal Holocaust Memorial Centre announced its Holocaust Education Series to be held from October 28 to November 9.
“This year marks the 70th anniversary of the Liberation, and the Series explores this theme through the media's lens. How did they report what was happening to Jews in Europe? How did they report the Liberation? Do they have a responsibility in assuring inter-cultural, social and religious harmony? The Centre has already touched upon these questions in its exposition "United against genocide". It will be further explored throughout the Series by witnesses and experts.”
