Training in Creative Arts Therapies
Interns at the Centre for the Arts in Human Development develop professional skills in their modality as well as specialized skills in working with adults with developmental disabilities. The Centre is a clinical training site for graduate students in art therapy, drama therapy and music therapy in the Department of Creative Arts Therapies and graduate students in the Department of Education at Concordia University. In the past, some internships were provided to undergraduate students in Music Therapy at l’Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). On-site supervision for these interns is provided by staff at the Centre who are professionals in the creative arts therapies.
