Faculty of Arts & Science

Arts and Science at Concordia means 21 departments and 6 colleges that approach learning from the student’s perspective. The departments provide opportunities for students to become actively involved in issues of the day and to choose from classes offered during the day or, in some cases, the evening. The colleges focus on small classes that promote intense collaboration between professors and students. Whatever your passion — the environment, human rights, genomics or one of the more traditional areas of the humanities, social sciences or sciences — you will benefit from a dynamic approach to learning that puts you first and delivers flexibility, interdisciplinary thinking, and ground-breaking research.

John Molson School of Business

The John Molson School of Business ( JMSB) is one of Canada’s largest English-language business schools. We are an accredited institution, having received AACS B (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) recognition in 1997. JMSB has been ranked 1st in Quebec as well as 3rd and 4th in Canada for our undergraduate and MBA programs, respectively, in the 2010 Corporate Knights Schools Survey. Our latest pride is our new 15-storey building that is now home to all students, staff and faculty. Located on the downtown campus, it is one of the first solar commercial buildings in Canada, offering environmentally friendly and energyefficient space with wireless technology throughout.
