Certificate in Canadian Studies

Want to learn about Canada while earning a university certificate or possible degree credit? The Faculty of Arts and Science, together with the Faculty of Fine Arts and the John Molson School of Business, offers a 30-credit Certificate in Canadian Studies.

Certificate in Canadian Studies — 30 credits
This certificate, offered entirely online, is a non-degree program that caters particularly to students who are unable to attend on-campus courses. A collaborative effort of nine academic units representing three Faculties and interdisciplinary in nature, the purpose of this certificate is to offer students the opportunity to learn about Canada and Canadian culture. Courses include a mix drawn from the social sciences, the humanities, the arts, and business.

Sample courses include:

Introduction to Canadian Literature, Introduction to Canadian Politics, Canadian Environmental Issues, Canadian Society
