The Marketing curriculum ensures that students are up to date and fully equipped in terms of the knowledge, skills, and attitudes suitable for marketplace success in the 21st century. The program's applied "how to" approach greatly enhances the employability of graduates and prepares them to start the new business that Canada requires to enable its future economic well being.

Marketing Co-op Program

Students develop decision making skills and are equipped with the perspective necessary to become effective, responsible marketing professionals. They are able to create and execute plans based on a thorough understanding of consumer behaviour and the factors that influence it.

Work tasks may include:

  • Event planning and organization
  • Marketing research, project development and analysis
  • Participation in fundraising campaign planning
  • Creating and producing websites, posters, brochures and point of sale materials
  • Reviewing merchandising trends
  • Creating public relations strategies and performing PR tasks
