With warmer temperatures comes thaw, which can be hazardous in a large city. During sunny days, melting ice and snow falls off tall buildings, posing a danger to pedestrians below.

At Concordia, Facilities Management works closely with the Security Department to ensure the safety of everyone on campus. They perform regular inspections and cordon off any sidewalk that could pose a threat to anyone below.

Be aware of your surroundings at all times

It is important to be aware of the posted signs and to avoid areas that are cordoned off.

Should you see any situation you feel is dangerous, call Security at 514-848-3717.
