Workshops & events
Each year, our professional staff facilitate over 200 workshop sessions for students on a variety of topics relevant to the Concordia population. From Introduction to University Reading to Oral Presentations for Grad Students, our workshops are an interactive way for students to learn study skills, develop necessary life skills, engage in the career planning process and network for student success.
Counselling and Development's workshops are free for all currently registered Concordia students.

A Fair of the Heart
How healthy are your relationships? Do you know how to fight fairly?
Come do a short personality assessment that will help you gain insight into your way of relating in relationships. Our Counsellors will share key tips on communication, conflict resolution and maintaining healthy relationships of all kinds.

Take a short stress assessment and speak individually with a counsellor to create your own stress reduction plan. Mental Health Awareness Fair
Learn ways to reduce your stress, improve your mood, increase your mental health and wellness and what resources can support you with this goal. Worried that your symptoms of sadness or stress are outside the normal realm? Complete a short depression/anxiety screening on site and get feedback from a trained counsellor on the options available to you.
