Workshops & events
Each year, our professional staff facilitate over 200 workshop sessions for students on a variety of topics relevant to the Concordia population. From Introduction to University Reading to Oral Presentations for Grad Students, our workshops are an interactive way for students to learn study skills, develop necessary life skills, engage in the career planning process and network for student success.
Counselling and Development's workshops are free for all currently registered Concordia students.

Time Management Clinic
Are you good at managing your time to get everything done? Do you wish you knew how to use your time more efficiently? Good time management skills are essential to student success, so drop by H-460 to discuss your course load and other commitments with a Learning Specialist from Concordia Student Learning Services before the course add/drop date.
We’ll give you advice about your schedule and discuss strategies to organize and manage your time before you feel overwhelmed with too much to do and too little time to do it in!

Mental Health Awareness Day
Learn ways to reduce your stress, improve your mood and increase your mental health and wellness and what resources within Counselling and Development can support you with this goal. Worried that your symptoms of sadness or stress are outside the normal realm?
Complete a short depression/anxiety screening on site and get feedback from a trained counsellor on the options available to you.

Come decompress with us as you enter the last phase of your semester and approach your finals. Take a short stress assessment and speak individually with a counsellor to create your own stress reduction plan. Pick up handouts, browse our book collection on stress and fill out a short feedback form for the chance to win a prize
