Policy Regarding Event Publicity

  • The primary purpose of the Concordia Calendar is to encourage the sharing of information about events taking place at the university. It is intended for use by the Concordia community and others, such as the public and media.

  • To be approved and included in the Calendar, events must either be taking place at Concordia, or, if they’re off-campus, they must be organized primarily by an official Concordia group or unit (for example, a Department, recognized student association, etc.).

  • There is no charge for posting an event.

  • information Services reserves the right to edit event information for length, spelling, language and clarity.

  • information Services reserves the right to refuse events that are submitted without appropriate or sufficient information.

  • Acronyms should be avoided.
