Most of us have experienced some kind of loss, whether it be the loss of a person, a relationship, a dream, a job, a pet, or our independence. Grief is a natural part of this loss, and often involves an exploration of our values and that, which is dear to us. In this workshop Ray McGinnis gives participants a map for understanding how writing in a journal can be a helpful companion and witness to your own healing journey.
No previous writing experience is necessary.
When: Wednesday, May 8 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Where: Room Z-05, Z-Annex (2090 Mackay St.), Sir George Williams Campus
Cost: Concordia students are free; Concordia staff and faculty $10; and general public $25
To register, contact Ellie.Hummel@concordia.ca or 514-848-2424 x 3590.
