Feb. 28 - How to Stay Healthy all Winter

Health Services team shares tips to beat winter woes!

It’s February: come by the Health Services tables to learn how you can stay healthy through the rest of our long Montreal winter. Talk with health promotion specialists and nurses, help yourself to reliable information, test your hand-washing skills, and find out the number one defense against winter illness.

Learn how to:
•    Keep your immune system strong to fight off common winter infections like colds, flus, and gastro
•    Eat nutritiously during the winter months
•    Stay active during cold, wet weather
•    Check if your vaccines are current and find out how to update them right on campus
•    Prevent winter “blues” and find resources available if you’re sad, anxious or have empty feelings that persist.

When: Thursday, February 28 from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Where: Atrium of the Engineering, Computer Science and Visual Arts Integrated Complex (EV Building, 1515 Ste-Catherine St. W.), Sir George Williams Campus
