Feb. 28 - Healthy Cooking Class: High Fibre

A fun, hands-on experience meant to equip participants with nutritious, simple and affordable meal ideas

Do words like “prebiotic” and “inulin” intrigue you? Do you wonder if you are choosing foods that give you enough fibre? Learn how to incorporate fibre rich foods into your diet.

Open to staff, faculty, students and the general public, PERFORM’s Healthy Cooking classes are a fun, hands-on experience meant to equip participants with nutritious, simple and affordable meal ideas. These sessions offer practical tips on how to add variety to meal planning and provide participants with engaging and delicious recipes. 

Outline:
Discussion and recipe modification     4:30 to 5 p.m.
Cooking and clean up                          5 to 6:30 p.m.
Dining and discussion                          6:30 to 7:15 p.m.
Food for thought                                   7:15 to 7:30 p.m.
