
Craig Morrison, Department of Music part-time faculty member, presents the 16th annual Roots of Rock & Roll concert, featuring Craig Morrison & the Momentz, Vintage Wine, and special guests Pat Loiselle, Terry Joe Banjo and Amelia McMahon.
Songs will showcase the evolution of pop and rock ’n’ roll on the silver screen: Jailhouse for Jailhouse Rock and other Elvis Presley movie songs; Submarine for Yellow Submarine and the other Beatles movie themes, plus songs from Grease, Easy Rider, The Graduate, Midnight Cowboy, Hair, as well as classics from The Jazz Singer (the first movie with sound, 1927), Casablanca, The Wizard of Oz, and many other films.
