Feb. 7 - Interfaith relationships workshop

Are you in a relationship with someone of a different faith?

When people from different religious backgrounds come together in an intimate relationship, their differences can sometimes be quite challenging. But working through them can strengthen the relationship and lead to a much happier partnership.

This workshop explores some of the questions that often arise in interfaith relationships and offer tools that can help guide the process of negotiation.  Participants will learn new ways to talk about religion, how to compromise, as well as how to celebrate differences so that you can create your own unique lifestyle together.

Workshop goals:
-    Questions of identity — how to clarify what is important to you
-    Discovering one another — how to establish effective communication
-    Living with differences
-    Focus on values that will keep you together

When:  Thursday, February 7, 2013, at 2 p.m.
Where:  Multi-faith Chaplaincy, Room Z-05, Z annex (2090 Mackay St.), Sir George Williams Campus
