Open to staff, faculty, students and the general public, PERFORM’s Healthy Cooking classes are a fun, hands-on experience meant to equip participants with nutritious, simple and affordable meal ideas. These sessions offer practical tips on how to add variety to meal planning and provide participants with engaging and delicious recipes.
The theme for the first class is Choosing Fats – Full and flavourful with a focus on Canada’s Food Guide Meat and Alternatives.
Outline:
Discussion and recipe modification 4:30 to 5 p.m.
Cooking and clean up 5 to 6:30 p.m.
Dining and discussion 6:30 to 7:15 p.m.
Food for thought 7:15 to 7:30 p.m.
As a promotional event, the reduced cost of the evening is $50 plus tax. Payment will be accepted on the day of the session at the reception area in the basement of the PERFORM Centre.
