
For the third year in a row, Dragons’ Den, the highly rated CBC television show, is holding open auditions at Concordia University’s John Molson School of Business. Interested entrepreneurs must pitch their business ideas to the show’s producers in five minutes or less. Successful candidates will be invited to present in front of the show’s panel of judges when the upcoming season is filmed in Toronto later this year.
The auditions are open to participants of all ages, but students are particularly encouraged to try out as the show runs an “All-Student” episode every year featuring young entrepreneurs.
When: Saturday, January 26, 2013, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Room MB-2.130, John Molson School of Business Building (1450 Guy St.), Sir George Williams Campus
Dragons’ Den is the highest rated Canadian, unscripted program on television, with an average audience of over 1.4 million Canadians each week. In addition to its success on air, Dragons’ Den is also a hit online, boasting an active and engaged online community averaging more than 650,000 page views per month.
