Can design — be it building or landscape architecture, object, graphic, interaction or gaming design — be 'critical' in its practice or in its production in the 'real world'? Design as a Critical Practice: Re-designing Design, a new series of lectures, gathers a diverse range of international and local practitioners, all of whom in some way engage the nature of design as a form of expanded practice.
The first speaker of the series is Eduardo Aquino, an architecture professor from the University of Manitoba.
When: Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at 4:30 p.m.
Where: Room EV-6.720, Engineering, Computer Science and Visual Arts Integrated Complex (1515 Ste-Catherine St. W.), Sir George Williams Campus
