
The School of Graduate Studies, the Department of Education and the Department of Education Interdisciplinary Graduate Student Association are pleased to announce a lecture by Jason J. Wallin, assistant Professor in Media and Youth Culture in Curriculum from the Department of Secondary Education at the University of Alberta.
Wallin has been invited to Concordia by Vivek Venkatesh, associate dean of Academic Programs and Development at the School of Graduate Studies, to present ideas for a forthcoming book titled Educational, Psychological and Behavioural Considerations in Niche Online Communities, to be published in 2014 by IGI Worldwide. The book is being co-edited by Venkatesh and Wallin, as well as Juan Carlos Castro (Concordia's Department of Art Education) and Jason Edward Lewis (Concordia's Department of Design and Computation Arts).
