Dec. 7 - 23rd annual Libraries Christmas Auction

Local charities benefit from the purchase of crafts, jewelry and other items

Preparations are underway for 23rd annual Concordia University Libraries Christmas Auction. Each year, the committee solicits the donation of auction-worthy items that are auctioned off to the Concordia community. Up for grabs are crafts, antiques, jewellery, objets d’art, and holiday-themed items. 

In addition to auction items, prizes are raffled off throughout the event. The entry fee is a raffle ticket or $2. Raffle tickets are $2 individually, or three for $5, seven for $10 or 10 tickets for $15.
 
When: Friday, December 7, 2012, from 12 to 2 p.m.
Where: J.A. DeSève Cinema, Room LB-125, J.W. McConnell Library Building (1400 De Maisonneuve Blvd. W.), Sir George Williams Campus
 
All proceeds will benefit:
Auberge Madeleine, Can Serve Foundation, Chez Doris, CODE (Canadian Organization for Development through Education), Concordia University Multi-faith Chaplaincy and Financial Aid and Awards, Dans la Rue, the Gazette Christmas Fund, Operation Eyesight Universal, OXFAM, Sun Youth, and the Women’s Centre of Montreal.
