
Is stress a factor in your life? Experiencing stress has been linked to a variety of negative consequences, including disturbed sleep, heart disease, obesity, mental health problems, decreased academic performance and back pain — to name a few.
In this short workshop, titled Stress Management: A Practical Guide. participants will learn the causes and signs of stress, and how it affects the body. A variety of effective stress management techniques will be presented, as well as recommendations for healthy living that reduces a person’s vulnerability to stress.
When: Wednesday, March 28, 2012, from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
Where: Room EV-2.184, Engineering, Computer Science and Visual Arts Integreated Complex (1515 Ste-Catherine St.W.) , Sir George Williams Campus
While the workshops are free, space is limited and registration is first-come, first-served basis.
