Sustainable Concordia has organized a week of events around sustainability. Under the theme What Sustains You?, the series of events promises to entertain, educate and inspire.
Consumerism Day is packed with displays about the impact of everyday products, alternative consumer groups and sustainable furniture on the seventh floor of the Hall Building. DIY Brewing, SWAP Team Clothing, TapThirst and HugYourMug will be on hand, and a panel discussion titled, Canada Beyond Oil features Member of Parliament and first Canadian in space Marc Garneau.

Where: CSU big lounge, seventh floor of the Hall Building
Transportation Day offers information about sustainable transportation options available to Montrealers.
When: Wednesday, March 21 from 1 to 4 p.m.
Where: Back terrace of Hall Building
The Sustainability Food Fair features local restaurants, farmers, organizations, retailers, grocers, and producers all coming together to celebrate the sustainable food movement that is growing in and around Montreal and across the planet.
When: Friday, March 23 from noon to 4 p.m.
Where: The Hive Café, Student Centre Building (SC), Loyola Campus (7141 Sherbrooke St. W.)
The Greenhouse offers two workshops that same day.
What: Vermicomposting workshop
When: Friday, March 23 from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
Where: Concordia Greenhouse, 13th floor of the Hall Building, accessed via the 12th floor.
What: Sprouts and Micro-greens
When: Friday March 23 from 2:30 to 4 p.m.
