In its more than 60 years of existence, Israel had experienced a wide variety of security and diplomatic challenges ranging from conventional wars to low intensity conflicts and from precarious modus vivendi with its neighbors to relations based on peace agreements.
With all the time-related changes, there were always premises affecting Israel’s security conception that defied time. The lecture will introduce the origins and development of Israel’s national security conception in its static and dynamic dimensions, as it evolved throughout the years.
When: Monday, March 19, 2012 from 10 to 11 a.m.
Where: Room H-767, Henry F. Hall Building (1455 De Maisonneuve Blvd. W.), Sir George Williams Campus
This event, sponsored by the Azrieli Institute of Israel Studies, is free of charge and open to the public.
