With the addition of the DPrint printing service now in use at the Loyola Campus Vanier Library, users can print on DPrint devices university-wide, including in the R. Howard Webster Library on the Sir George Williams Campus and in most labs on both campuses.
DPrint representatives are on hand Monday to Thursday at both libraries from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to answer questions and assist users. In the Webster Library, they are located on the second floor near the DPrint devices, and in the Vanier Library, representatives are found on the first floor near the reference desk. DPrint representatives can transfer funds from print cards to student ID cards. Print cards no longer work on the new system.
Using the WebPrint tool, users can print on all of Concordia’s public network DPrint devices from any computer or mobile device equipped with a web browser. This can be done by accessing the WebPrint page and following the prompts.
Print requests are saved for 24 hours. Students can then go to any DPrint device, swipe their student photo ID card, and, provided there are sufficient funds on the card, follow the instructions to print their documents. Colour documents will be available only on colour DPrint devices.
The service is geared for student users who must have valid student ID cards to load funds to their accounts. Non-students should go to the web page below or call the DPrint information number for instructions on how to access DPrint services.
Copying and scanning documents on DPrint devices has been available for more than a year and the university recently added the printing service. For more information or help, visit the DPrint web page, send an email to dprint@concordia.ca or call 514-848-2424, ext. 3476.
