
The Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Workshops will teach you to recognize early signs of negative behaviour that can lead to a disruptive environment, assault and other out-of-control situations.
During the eight-hour course, participants will learn how to respond safely to difficult situations by using various principles and techniques. The workshops are being offered by the Security Department and will be taught by a professional instructor. Held on the downtown campus in the Henry F. Hall Building, a maximum of 24 participants can register for each of the three sessions offered. Faculty and staff are welcome to register.
When: Wednesday, February 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Wednesday, February 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Wednesday, March 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Where: Henry F. Hall Building (1455 De Maisonneuve Blvd. W.), Sir George Williams Campus. Room numbers will be provided upon registration.
