Concordia Bookstore buys back textbooks daily

Sell used textbooks back and get cash in return

Start the year off with money in your pocket. The Concordia Bookstore offers a textbook buyback program for cost-conscious students. Last year, students were paid $452,266 in cash and more than 7,000 books were recycled through the buyback program.

Stop by one of the bookstores on the Sir George Williams or Loyola campuses to sell your books. Books are bought back daily and payment is always made in cash. More than 30 per cent of used books sold were purchased from Concordia students.

There are three easy ways to determine what books are worthy before arriving at the store:

Option 1: Online Buyback Price Check
Visit the Concordia Bookstore web pages and use the online Buyback Price Check. Simply enter the ISBN of your used textbook to determine if it is being bought back through the bookstore - and at what price.

Option 2: Sign up for Buyback Alerts
Sign up for Buyback Alerts to be notified by email when the bookstore is buying back one of your particular textbooks at the best price.

Option 3: Used books Buyback Mobile App
Get a quote for used books quickly and easily with your smartphone. Download the Buyback App by going to your App store and searching for "Sell books Concordia.”

Students can also visit the bookstore and ask the clerk at the information counter for assistance. The bookstores will gladly research the buyback value and pay cash.
