Nov. 30 - Deadline to change pension plan contribution status

Plan members can use pension projection tool to evaluate options

Concordia pension plan members have the opportunity to modify their contribution status for the upcoming year by submitting their request to Pension Services by November 30, 2012. After this date, members will be able to modify their contribution status again only in November 2013.

A pension projection tool is available to all members of the pension plan on the Pension@ccess web page that enables them to better evaluate their contributory or non-contributory options.

This feature illustrates how retirement income would vary with a change to one’s contributory status. Members can see and compare their projected retirement income under both formulas side by side, providing a calculation of how a change in status for future service will impact retirement income. 

How to access the Pension@ccess web page:

  • Click on pension@ccess
  • Enter employee number
  • Enter password. Note, for the first login, the temporary password will be the employee date of birth in the format MMDDYYYY, followed by the last three digits of the  employee number
  • Click on “Forms and Documents” for the contribution change form

To change your contributory status, complete the form and submit by email to pensions@concordia.ca, or send by fax to 514-848-2844, or deliver in person or by internal mail to Suite FB-1130 of the Faubourg Tower (1250 Guy St., 11th floor).
