Input sought for evaluation of dean of Engineering and Computer Science

Community members invited to make written submission to committee

A committee has been established to evaluate the performance of Robin Drew during his first term as Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science.

Members of the university community are invited to make a brief written submission to the committee using the evaluation criteria (linked to below) to guide the preparation of the submission.

All comments must be signed or come from an identifiable email address. As outlined in the Policy BD-8, which governs the evaluation process of senior academic administrators who have agreed to seek a second term, all comments submitted to the committee will be treated in the strictest confidence. Moreover, only the secretary and the chair of the committee will be privy to the identity of the person submitting the comment.

While the committee may wish to discuss the content of the submissions with Dean Drew, the submissions themselves will not be communicated to him or to anyone beyond the committee and the external evaluator.

All comments should reach Secretary of the Committee Andrea Renaud no later than Monday, October 22, 2012.
